PARA UMA CULTURA SUSTENTÁVEL NA EUROPA

20th dez 2022
Call for Orchestral Academy 2023
Closed

We are pleased to announce the Call for the Orchestral Academy 2023 with Ljubljana International Orchestra, integrated into the Sounds of Change, a Creative Europe Project supported by the European Union.

We invite young professional musicians and advanced music students to spend an unforgettable summer with us at the Orchestral Academy, which will take place from 24 August until 31 August 2023 in the beautiful University City of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Sounds of Change will provide musicians, young professionals, and advanced students with the opportunity to experience the orchestral academy, exploring different orchestras and various cultures.

The Orchestral Academy provides participants with intensive programmes that collaborate with internationally renowned musicians, developing personal potential and gaining invaluable experiences for the future. The participants will acquire the necessary technical and interpretative skills, build confidence in response, function and collaboration within the orchestra, develop knowledge of different styles and epochs, and learn how to adapt in a simulation of a professional working environment.

This educational programme has two essential goals: refinement and excellence. We set a high standard in orchestral performance in the most demanding programmes with them.

Our Orchestra Academy and symphony orchestra provide the experience with the simulation of a professional orchestra. Professional musicians also play concerts with young musicians. It is an invaluable experience and a unique opportunity for all, as it develops dynamics and supports the passion for musical reproduction.

The project covers the expenses of travel, accommodation and meals connected to the activities of the orchestral academy for participating musicians.
