Long Night of Chamber Music

The Chamber Music Festival Concerts left an indelible mark on all in attendance. Among the highlights was the captivating “Long Night of Chamber Music” held at the Rathaus in Koblenz. The chosen ensembles by audition, such as the Echo String Quartet, Sonas Quartet, Prima Vista Quartet, Quinteto Fermata, Equinox Quartet, and Yannos Duo performed to an engaged audience. These evening concerts not only showcased the masterful performances of our great students but also featured their collaborations with the Academy mentors.

Grand Finale

The Chamber Music Festival’s grand finale on July 28th at the Rhein Mosel Halle was a remarkable concert, featuring works by Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven. The soloists, including Philipe Tondre (oboe), Philippe Graffin (violin), Marcin Zdunik (cello), and Bufe Muratal (bassoon), contributed to a great performance of Haydn’s Sinfonia concertante B-Dur. The Triplekonzert was brilliantly interpreted by Kirill Troussov (violin), Benedict Kloeckner (cello), and Alexandra Troussova (piano). The Chamber Music Academy Orchestra played Mozart’s Sinfonie in g-Moll, Nº40, conducted by Osvaldo Ferreira, director of the Orquestra Filarmónica Portuguesa.
